Verification Code
Some services are by appointment only. Therefore, you issue a set of verification codes to the customers in advance through various means. On the day of the appointment, before taking a ticket, the customer needs to enter the special code to verify with the system. If the code matches, a ticket will be issued. If not, they won’t be able to take a ticket for that service and may have to take a Walk-In ticket instead.
Update Verification Code
You need to update the verification codes in the system daily to ensure they match when customers enter them during the ticket-taking process. You can update the verification codes by copying and pasting them in the admin page or by updating them automatically via the API.
API to Update Appointment Verification Code
You might want to update the code database using the API instead of copying and pasting manually every day. This means you can push all appointment verification codes directly from your booking system to the queue system daily.
